We are a fun Photography Club featuring speakers, photo reviews, sharing, teaching, learning, outings. We meet 7 - 9 PM most Tuesdays, September to June. For meetings and events, check out our calendar.

Purpose

The purpose of the Central Okanagan Photographic Society is to promote interest and proficiency in all phases of photography by:

• Encouraging members to produce more and better photographs.
• Providing instruction, workshops and field trips to assist members in improving their photographic capabilities.
• Providing opportunities for social contact between members.
• Arranging competitions and/or evaluations among members and/or between the Society and other photographic clubs.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome to attend up to 3 regular meetings before joining the club. Some restrictions may apply for special event meetings. If you would like to attend a meeting as a guest, please email the COPS Membership Coordinator.

How to Join or Renew

Step One - Create an Account

If you are a current member and are renewing your membership, proceed to Step Two.

If you are a new member or a member from prior to the 2020 - 2021 season, click here to Create an Account and Request Membership. Please remember to record your username, password and the email address that you used.

Step Two - Complete Forms and Send Payment

Preferred Method of Payment

1. Fill in the 2021-2022 Membership Application Form, print and sign it.
2. Print, fill in and sign the Activity Waiver.
3. Scan both forms.
4. Email both forms to cops.treasurer@gmail.com.
5. Login to your bank account website and send an e-transfer for your membership fees to cops.treasurer@gmail.com.

NOTE: When you enter the email address in your bank's e-transfer utility, ensure that you see "Autodeposit" and that you DO NOT have to enter a security question. If you do not see "Autodeposit" then you are missing the dot between "cops" and "treasurer" in the destination email address.

Alternate Method of Payment

1. Fill in the 2021-2022 Membership Application Form, print and sign it.
2. Print, fill in and sign the Activity Waiver.
3. Make out a cheque to C.O.P.S.
4. If an in-person meeting is scheduled, bring your signed forms and cheque to the meeting. (See the calendar for meeting notices).

Step Three - Login to Website

Once your membership form, waiver and payment have been received, the COPS Membership Coordinator will complete the set up of your account on our website and send you an email. You can then login to the website and gain access to member only sections.
